That was actually a great post! I sometimes wish I had the perspective of my children...wouldn't our lives be less complicated?
ReplyDeleteAs a child, every once in a while, I got to enter my mother's bedroom and investigate the lovely boxes and trays on her dresser. I remember thinking how wonderful her treasures were and how lucky she was.
ReplyDeleteWe were rather poor and those trinkets were really just safety pins, beads, buttons, etc. but as you keenly noted, it is all about perspective.
